Somebody has to control all those robots?

Way way back in the far distant past, people who managed a company’s workers were called Personnel Officers. Remember? Now cast your mind to the way back of the not too distant past. That’s when Personnel Officers were called Human Resource Managers. Ring a bell? If not, try to recall the recent past when Human Resource Managers became Human Capital Directors.

Now we’re getting somewhere. Or are we?

Because today, we are eliminating the Homo Sapiens part of the job.

Behold the birth of the Robot Resource Manager!

Experts are now predicting that by 2030, the job title of robot resource manager could be commonplace. More than that, it could be absolutely essential.

According to a recent article in Yahoo!Finance, “As technology continues to advance, robots are increasingly used in various industries, including construction. With robots being used in 3D printing, assembly line production and labor-intensive tasks, the role of a robot resource manager becomes crucial. This position involves sourcing and managing these robots while ensuring they are performing efficiently and effectively.”

So get out your duck tape and WD40. It’s time to keep those robots in smooth running order. Oh wait, the robots will be designed to be self maintaining, won’t they?

Oops. Ever a consider a job in the trades? I hear plumbing is a growth industry.
