AI professionals around the world are modifying their robotic creations to perform tasks that would otherwise be performed by nurses, aides, and medical support staff. Among those tasks are delivering medicines and food, cleaning and sanitizing rooms, disposing of medical waste, bringing in supplies from outside the hospitals, even treating patients directly.
