Calling for Comments on Federal IT Modernization

The American Technology Council is calling for comments on its recently issued report on the modernization of Federal Information technology. Comments will be accepted up to September 20, 2017.

According to the report, the current administration “has prioritized modernization of Federal information technology (IT) systems, and to that end, has committed to help agencies better leverage American innovations through increased use of commercial technology.” The creation in May of the American Technology Council (ATC) was a first step in that process.

Another key part of the process, according to Chris Liddell, ATC Director, is to solicit innovative perspectives from industry. With that end in mind, the council has opened its initial report for industry and public comment to ensure that the best plan possible is implemented.

The Council has asked that comments address the following key questions:
